For years, I struggled to understand why anyone would do yoga. It didn't make me sweat (at the time), and I found it really boring. I grew wiser and turned to yoga when I knew running every day wasn't a healthy option. I desired to have more strength and flexibility in my exercise routine, and now I'm in love. 😊
I teach an all-level, western based vinyasa flow class. As an athlete and medical professional, I think critically through balance and organization of the class to touch on several different key areas for functional success. Each class has a component of core stability, breathing techniques, strength, balance, and flexibility poses. We end each session with the traditional Savasana for reflection, meditation, and mindfulness.

Note: If you are a yogi beginner or are looking for a way to deepen your practice, I would encourage you to schedule a private session to focus on correct positioning in the poses.
